Gunmen plunder South Darfur market

Militiamen plundered the weekly market of Sargeila in Tullus locality, South Darfur, on Monday. A merchant from Tullus told Radio Dabanga that a group of militiamen stripped merchants and shoppers of their money, mobile phones, luggage and goods. The merchant estimated the value of the stolen items at “thousands of pounds”, because, he pointed out, the weekly market is frequented by people from various localities, Tullus, Gireida, and Buram.
