Gunmen open fire on citizens in Kabkabiya

Three citizens were severely injured on Saturday October 13 in the area west of Kabkabiya in North Darfur, when an armed group opened fire on them, Radio Dabanga has learned. A witness told Radio Dabanga that an armed group, in military uniforms, driving a Land Cruiser vehicle opened fire on a group of citizens, who were on their way back from the market.The witness added that the attack left three people severely injured. The victims are Hob el-Deen Mohamed Zein, 24 years old, Ahmed Yaqoub, 28 years old and Yaseen Ahmed Mohamed Ahmed, 26 years old. The victims were taken to the hospital in Kabkabiya for treatment. Hob el-Deen Mohamed Zein is in critical condition, the witness added to Radio Dabanga from Kabkabiya.
