Gunmen kill son, injure father in South Darfur

A group of armed men killed a man, seriously injured his father, and looted 110 head of cattle near Ed El Fursan town, South Darfur, on Wednesday. Fathi El Toam recounted from Ed El Fursan locality to Radio Dabanga that an armed group attacked Hamdan Suleiman Gujja Harran and his father at 2am in the area of El Batikha. “The gunmen beat them with sticks, killing the son on the spot. They then looted 110 cows and fled towards Katila.” The source added that Suleiman Gujja was taken to a hospital in Idd El Ghanam, where he is lying in a coma now. File photo Radio Dabanga
