Governor of West Darfur allows prosecution of commissioner

The governor of West Darfur has lifted the immunity of Abdullah Mohammed Hussein, commissioner of Um Dukhum locality. A state prosecutor had asked for this after the Democratic Unionist Party (DUP) complained to the National Elections Commission. The commissioner is accused of having expelled monitors and representatives of the parties from the electoral offices.
