Four die of sunstroke in Port Sudan
Four people succumbed to a sunstroke in Port Sudan, capital of Red Sea state, this weekend.
The Port Sudan Hospital received four people, including a child, with symptoms of a sunstroke on Saturday, journalist Osman Hashim told Radio Dabanga.
The victims came from various districts of the city. They all died in the hospital the same day.
Hashim said that people in the Red Sea state are suffering from a sharp rise in temperatures amounting to above 40 degrees Celsius during the past two days.
