Near El Fasher, another fire on Monday completely consumed Elsalam 6 Primary School in Abu Shouk camp for displaced people. It also burnt down the malnutrition center run by MSF. Witnesses said that the fire, which started at two and a half in the afternoon, lasted for several hours due to the lack of a fire truck and destroyed the school completely and the rehab center for malnutrition. The source verified that around 16 patients in the center were saved and transferred to Elfasher Teaching Hospital for treatment and that some suffered from suffocation due to the fire.
