The explosion of a grenade killed a young man in Goz Beida camp for Sudanese refugees in eastern Chad on Saturday.

A correspondent for Radio Dabanga reported that Abdallah Ishag Yahya (21 years) had brought the grenade, which was as a foreign object to him, inside the camp where it exploded. Abdallah was wounded and transferred to the hospital in Abeche, where he died on Saturday.

Another displaced man, Abdallah Hussein, sustained injuries.
