The spokesman for the Sudan Armed Forces, Col. El Sawarmi Khaled Saad, explained in a press conference in Khartoum on Friday, that ammunition in the garrison’s stores detonated, which led to the burning of some houses in the vicinity.

He added that an inquiry is underway to identify the causes of the explosion.
