Eleven SAF soldiers killed in S Kordofan ambush

The Sudanese Revolutionary Front (SRF) announced the killing of eleven Sudanese Armed Forces (SAF) soldiers in South Kordofan on Monday. A spokesman of the Sudan Liberation Army (coalition member of Minnawi SRF), Salim Abu Garun, told Radio Dabanga their troops set up an ambush for an army vehicle on the main road between Muglad and Babanusa. Abu Garun said that two officers were among the fatal victims: Lt-Col. Seifeldin Mohamed Ahmed and Major Sirajaldin Osman Mohamed. He added the army vehicle was carrying small arms, food supplies and ammunition.
