Election Commission vehicle hijacked in North Darfur
A vehicle of the National Election Commission was hijacked near Tabit on Wednesday.
The car, transporting ballot boxes, was ambushed on the El Fasher-Tabit road, an eyewitness informed Radio Dabanga.
“The attackers ordered the seven NEC staff members to disembark, and left with the vehicle, including the ballot boxes, towards the west,” he said.
