Children continue to bear the biggest burden of the man-made disaster in South Kordofan, Unicef states. Ten children aged between two and 15 years have been killed in the last two weeks in South Kordofan.

“Conflict kills,” the statement reads, “but it also prevents boys and girls from going to school, from accessing quality health and nutrition services and from receiving adequate protection.

“Children have only one message for all parties to the conflict: The war should stop!”
