East Darfur to spray against ‘pest birds’

A number of the localities of East Darfur have complained of the emergence of troublesome bird pests.

The Director of the State Ministry of Agriculture, Ahmed Mohamed Abuklam has acknowledged the emergence of the birds. He added that his Ministry has conducted a survey and identified the areas where the birds have spread including the localities of Bahr El Arab, El Ferdous, Abu Jabra and Sheiria.

Abuklam that there are three pesticide-spraying aircraft at Ed Dein airport that will be used to conduct the control operation.
