A man was shot and killed in his car near Kabkabiya in North Darfur on Wednesday.
Speaking to Radio Dabanga, a listener reported that two gunmen hired an Atos car in downtown Kakbkabiya on Wednesday evening.
“The driver, Hamed Abdallah Hassan, was to take them to El Manara, some three kilometres west of Kabkabiya,” he said.
“When they arrived there, the men ordered Hassan to take them to another place. When he refused, they shot him dead and fled with his car.”
The source said that a search party chased the attackers and halted them in the area of Tekei. “They managed to capture one of them, and handed him to the commander of the Kabkabiya military garrison.”
