Displaced people in Zamzam camp strongly criticized the government of Sudan for sending aid to Libya while millions of people in camps in Darfur suffer from hunger and malnutrition. The government reportedly had sent a relief plane loaded with thousands of tons to Libya for the relief of the Libyan people. At a time when the camps are exploding with people who have fled their villages and are in need of relief they argue that the priority should go to them before the people of Libya.

An activist of the camp told Radio Dabanga that as refugees they are not against the relief of the Libyan people but are standing by the priorities that demand the relief to victims of Sudanese people and fulfilling their needs first before sending aid abroad.
