Deby calls on opposition forces to withdraw from Darfur

Chadian president Idris Deby called for the Chadian opposition forces to withdraw from Darfur and to put down their arms. President Deby spoke from Friendship Hall in Khartoum and guaranteed the opposition forces safety when they return to Chad.

President Deby spoke from Friendship Hall in Khartoum and guaranteed the opposition forces safety when they return to Chad. Deby also called on the fighting people in Darfur to put down their arms to create stability in the region. Deby is in Khartoum for bilateral talks between Sudan and Chad.
