In three separate incidents in Darfur today, at least three people were killed by militiamen. A farmer was shot dead and five others were wounded on Friday morning in Tawila locality, North Darfur.

Seven militiamen on camels opened fire on a group of farmers in Tebra, killing Ismail Abdelrasul Ahmed on the spot. Five farmers, who were harvesting their lands at the time, sustained serious injuries. Omda Musa Mukhtar Bosh informed Radio Dabanga about the incident.

In Buram locality, South Darfur, nine people were reportedly killed or wounded in clashes between the Habaniya and Salamat tribes. Local official Hammad Hussein said that the fighting erupted after a series of assassinations and robberies by tribesmen of both sides.

A woman and a child were killed in Dalal Angara, and a number of passengers were wounded when they were robbed by bandits. Their commercial vehicle was on its way from Ed El Fursan locality to Nyala city.
