Darfur: Nomads’ tents destroyed in ongoing Jebel Marra bombing

An Arab nomadic settlement was destroyed on Thursday in what witnesses term ‘ongoing air raids’ on Darfur’s Jebel Marra.

Callers told Radio Dabanga that an Antonov dropped six bombs south of Fanaga in East Jebel Marra, One of them fell on the tents of an Arab nomadic settlement. Fortunately, the tents were empty at the time and no human casualties were reported.

The bombing did kill several livestock.
