The Justice and Equality Movement on Monday resumed negotiations at the Doha Forum after a suspension of two weeks and went into direct talks with the delegation of the government in the presence of the mediator.  According to Jibril Bilal, the spokesman of the movement, that the meeting was set to arrange the priorities for the negotiations. He revealed that the movement started the negotiations by discussing the points of differences (including the issues power-sharing and the administrative status of Darfur).

JEM has also set the condition that 30 of its negotiators should be brought from the field. The movement accused the government of preventing the UNAMID from transporting them and Jibril confirmed that the delegation of the government accepted discussing the issue of the province separately from the issue of the referendum on the condition that the discussion would take place in a location set by the mediators to accomplish the final document soon.

Jibril also revealed that they enquired from the mediators about the date for the final document and were informed that the decided date is not yet final.
