Darfur Bar Association monitoring release of political prisoners
The Darfur Bar Association (DBA) has welcomed the Presidential decree on the release of all political prisoners, noting that “its worth is related to the extent the decree is implemented by the Sudanese National Intelligence and Security Service (NISS)”. Lawyers Ibrahim Ali Radi, Abdel Aziz El Tom, Abdel Munim Mohamed Adam, and youth leaders, Ibrahim Saleh Ibrahim (Guevara), Mohamed Idris Jidu, Mohamed Salah Mohamed, and Ghazi El Rayeh were released this week, Mohamed Abdallah El Doma, the chairman of the DBA told Radio Dabanga.
