On Thursday, Radio Dabanga reported that a gunman had shot dead a SAF soldier, while he was watching a soccer match in a club in Bir Yasin.

Member of Parliament for the Yassin constituency, Abdeljabbar Abdallah, told Radio Dabanga that the authorities managed to arrest the killer, who turned out to be a soldier too, and not a gunman from the area, as was alleged earlier.

According to the investigation committee, 11 shops and clubs burned to ashes, as well as two restaurants, a bakery, a photo studio, 11 telephone kiosks, five generators, and a large number of sun shades.
