Curfew restricts citizens of Nierteti, Central Darfur

Authorities of Nierteti city in Central Darfur have announced a curfew lasting from 8pm to 7am on Thursday. Citizens of Nierteti, in Nierteti locality, told Radio Dabanga that they were surprised when vehicles with loudspeakers on top drove through the city, announcing the curfew from sunset to sunrise. No reasons or or justifications were given. They said that the curfew restricts their mobility as they now have to go home early, do their prayers at home instead of at the mosque, and have supper indoors.
