Consultations between mediators and Darfur armed movements continue in Doha

The mediation team and several armed movements are still talking in the Doha mediations. Sources told the consultations have not produced a real breakthrough. The armed movements are trying to bridge their differences to negotiate with the government. Noreen Barsham spokesman of eight armed movements known as the Addis Ababa group told Radio Dabanga his group is pessimistic about the ongoing consultations.  The group had formed earlier a unified stance on the peace talks calling it the Addis Ababa road map.
