The local football league in Nyala hold in collaboration with the Merreikh football club a memorial service for the Merreikh football player Endurance Idahor who died in Khartoum last week. The assistant secretary of the local football league, Nyala Yusuf Ibra told Radio Dabanga that the Merreikh delegation will have a stop over in Nyala on it’s way to Chad to participate in the ceremony.

Endurance Idahor was a Nigerian football player of 25 years old. Since July 2008 he had held his Sudanese citizenship. A striker, Idahor played since 2005 for Merreikh in Omdurman.
