Car owners bring a suit against Minni Minawi

KHARTOUM (1 Mar.) – Some car owners made a petition before court against Minni Minawi, leader of the Sudan Liberation Movement (SLM). He took control of 36 vehicles owned by citizens at the start of the establishment of the movement, they claim in the court suit.

KHARTOUM (1 Mar.) – Some car owners made a petition before court against Minni Minawi, leader of the Sudan Liberation Movement (SLM). He took control of 36 vehicles owned by citizens at the start of the establishment of the movement, they claim in the court suit. Sadiq Abdullah Suleiman, chairman of the vehicle owners’ committee  said that Minni Minawi accepted to give back 16 vehicles but the committee refused. Suleiman added the court will review the case of March 3th. A National Assembly member of the SLM of Minawi confirmed that the movement had taken vehicles from individuals and did not hold its promise to give them back or compensate the owners.
