Camp resident murdered, brother injured in South Darfur

A resident of Gereida camp for the displaced in South Darfur was murdered on Saturday. According to a relative of the victim, “government-backed militiamen” attacked Yahya Eisa Ibrahim, known as Abu Aaza, and his brother, when they were collecting straw and firewood in the area of Um Girfa, east of Gereida.They shot at the two brothers, instantly killing Ibrahim and seriously injuring his brother who was transferred to the Gereida hospital for treatment.
