An Antonov of the Sudanese Air Force dropped 15 barrel bombs on six villages east of Guldo on Saturday, witnesses reported. They could not tell whether the attack caused any casualties.

Government troops transferred three people from Guldo to detention camps of the national security service in Zalingei on Saturday, according to witnesses. Imad Ahmed Suleiman (15), Abdelsalam Ahmed Ateem (21), and Abdel Majid Mousa (30) and have been held in custody by the government forces since 2 April.

Speaking to Radio Dabanga, a witness reported the arrival of 85 vehicles of a pro-government militia in Nierteti and Khor Ramla, after which the convoy moved straight to Guldo on Saturday.

On Sunday, the rebel Sudan Liberation Movement under the command of Abdel Wahid (SLM-AW) reported heavy fighting took place in western Jebel Marra over the past week. The rebels are in control of Sarrong, south of Golo.
