Armed robbery reported near Kass, attacks on farmers

An armed group looted a truck coming from Dura southeast of Kass on Saturday, Radio Dabanga learnt. The gunmen seized money and property of passengers and opened fire on the citizen Adam Abdelaziz, hitting him in the shoulder. He was taken to Nyala hospital for treatment. A government official in the Kass said that armed militias attacked last week attacked several villages in the area, forcing the residents who had returned to farming to flee back to Kass again.
