Armed robberies in North Darfur

Two people were robbed last week in Saraf Umra, North Darfur.
Sheikh Abdelrazeg Yousef Suleiman, the coordinator of the Saraf Umra camps told Radio Dabanga that armed men broke into the house of Abdallah Hassan Ibrahim in Saraf Umra town last Friday.
“They took his wife’s gold jewellery at gunpoint and fled on his motorcycle”.
The camp coordinator added that on Saturday, Khalid Mohamed Hussein was robbed while he was on his way from Dankoj camp to the Saraf Umra market.
“They stole his mobile phone, SDG10 ($1.65), after which they ordered him to take off his shirt and trousers too,” he reported.
