Armed group steals ambulance from health centre in Serba

An armed group stole an ambulance from a health centre on Monday in Buri Neimat, Serba locality in West Darfur. A resident in the area told Radio Dabanga that an armed group raided the house of the village chief Ahmed Hamid Atia, where the key for the ambulance is kept, at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. The group reportedly threatened the chief’s daughter at gunpoint, forcing her to hand over the key. They fled the area to an unknown destination. The witness appealed to local authorities to track down the vehicle and arrest the perpetrators.
