Armed group kills police officer

An armed group killed a police officer and injured another in the area of Mustary on Monday September 24 in Jebel Moun locality, West Darfur. Radio Dabanga was informed by a witness that a pro-government militia attacked the police station in Mustary on Monday. The attack resulted in the killing of Sergeant Hussein Gismallah and left another officer injured. The witness said the gunmen managed to release one of their members, who was accused of killing a person in Mustary detention center. After releasing the detained militia member, they escaped, the witness added.
