Air raid causes panic in Darfur’s Jebel Marra

The Sudanese Air Force bombed an area in Darfur’s East Jebel Marra today (Sunday), killing a number of livestock. There were no human casualties reported. A resident told Radio Dabanga that an Antonov jet dropped seven bombs near a village called Voluga. The explosion killed several sheep, cows, and donkeys with carts attached to them. Parts of the area were burned. He explained that the air raid caused panic amongst the villagers, who fled to the neighbouring valleys and mountains for cover.
