ACJPS releases report about Nyala killings

The African Center for Justice and Peace Studies (ACJPS) in Kampala, Uganda, released a report with information about the killings during the Nyala demonstrations. According to the Center, the recent events in Nyala left 12 people dead and more than 80 injured. Among the fatal victims there were 10 minors. In addition, all injuries and deaths were caused by gunshot wounds or sharp instruments. The report also pointed out that the National Intelligence and Security Services (NISS) and police forces used machine guns and artillery to suppress the protesters.
