Two unidentified gunmen opened fire on a Land Cruiser that was carrying passengers along the Anka-Kutum road, resulting in injuries to four passengers, including two women.

Two unidentified gunmen opened fire on a Land Cruiser that was carrying passengers along the Anka-Kutum road, resulting in injuries to four passengers, including two women. A witness from the area said that the gunmen damaged the tires of the car when it was driving in the bushes about 3 kilometers east of Kasaab camp in Kutum and took all the money and properties of the passengers. They escaped to an unknown destination.

The witness added that the wounded passengers are in Kutum hospital receiving treatment and that two are in critical conditions. He went on to say that the citizens and displaced people condemn the repeated shooting incidents that keep frightening the citizens of Kutum.
