23 injured in South Darfur road accidents

15 people sustained various injuries in Buram locality, South Darfur, on Tuesday, when the commercial vehicle they were travelling in overturned. In another traffic accident, near state capital Nyala, eight passengers were wounded.
One of the passengers told Dabanga that the van they were travelling in from El Teifara to Buram overturned at the area of El Nemat. The driver was allegedly speeding. “The 15 wounded were transferred to Buram Hospital.”

In the area of Bulbul, west of Nyala, capital of South Darfur, eight passengers of a commercial van were injured, two of them seriously, in a second traffic accident on Tuesday.

A witness reported to Dabanga that the vehicle was on its way from Nierteti to Nyala. “It overturned near Bulbul. Eight people were injured. They were transferred, two of them in a coma, to a hospital in Nyala for treatment.”
