More than 150 families, who sought refuge in camps for the displaced in Kabkabiya locality, North Darfur, have not received assistance so far.

“The people fled the violence in East Jebel Marra in January,” the coordinator of the Kabkabiya camps told Radio Dabanga. “About 154 families reached the camps here in Kabakbiya. They are living in difficult humanitarian circumstances, without food and shelter.”

He appealed to aid organisations present in North Darfur to intervene, and “rescue those newly displaced”.
