15 gunmen attack vehicle killing 1 displaced in S Darfur

A displaced man was killed and another two were injured when 15 gunmen opened fire on the vehicle they were traveling on in South Darfur on Tuesday afternoon. Ibrahim Shumin died of gunshot wounds, while Mohamed Ali and his son, 7, were injured and taken to a hospital, Radio Dabanga has learned. All victims reportedly live in Girayda camp for displaced. The vehicle was traveling from Al Khairad to Girayda town when it was assaulted by gunmen on horsebacks near Nigat Lagari, six kilometers from Girayda, sources said.Radio Dabanga file photo
