Sudanese in far South Darfur complain of total lack of services

Citizens in Buram Locality, South Darfur, complained of the lack of electricity service in the city for the last six years. They said that generators are available but need maintenance. Buram Locality is in the far south of Darfur, between Central African Republic and the northernmost part of Bahr El Ghazal. The area is controlled by the government. There are no aid agencies working in the area.

They pointed to the worn-out water network and the lack of internal roads. They also said students are suffering from lack of textbooks.
