The Sudanese Doctors’ Union in Britain and Ireland are scheduled to conduct a week-long drive in North Darfur, starting September 4.The medical convoy will provide free treatment programs for patients as well as hold training programs for medical students at the University of El Fasher.

Brigadier-General Mohammad Mahjoub Babiker Karamalla told Radio Dabanga on Sunday, “I held a meeting on Saturday with the relevant departments of the ministry to discuss the ongoing preparations for the reception of the mission and ways to make the program successful.”

The mission includes a number of consultants in all disciplines. Mohammad Mahjoub stressed on the need for people to take advantage of the program in increasing their awareness about health matters.
