A 22-year-old woman was repeatedly raped near the village of Kenjara located some 15 kilometres east of Tawila in North Darfur on Wednesday.

A relative told Radio Dabanga that the raped woman was harvesting a crop of beans she planted near to the village of Kenja. “Two militiamen attacked her. They first took turns to rape her and then made off with her beans.”
