West Darfur camp resident murdered at roadside

A displaced person from camp Umm-Shalaya in Wadi Azum locality, West Darfur, was shot dead by two gunmen on Monday, 22 October, a family member of the victim informed Radio Dabanga. They said the victim, Mohamed Suleiman Osman was on his way from Umm-Shalaya to Mandy village when gunmen opened fire on him. One of Osman’s relatives said he died on the spot. He added that a local team was assembled to track down the perpetrators after the police refused to do it.
