Villager injured by gunmen in attack east of Kass, S. Darfur

One person was injured when gunmen attacked villages, burned homes and looted a number of cows near Kass in South Darfur State on Thursday. The villages were Tabofuto, Hajr Gadeen, and Um Zalfeh, east of Kass. A witness told Radio Dabanga that there were tens of attackers using mobile phones and three Land Cruiser four-wheel drive vehicles. The vehicles came from the direction northwest of the villages and after the attack returned in the same direction. The incident has been reported to authorities in Kass.
