Member of the Darfur Bar Association (DBA) and human rights activist Tariq Ibrahim El Sheikh was arrested by security forces on Tuesday. He remains under detention.

Member of the Darfur Bar Association (DBA) and human rights activist Tariq Ibrahim El Sheikh was arrested by security forces on Tuesday. He remains under detention. The DBA condemned his arrest and announced the launch of a large scale solidarity and advocacy campaign, demanding his release. The DBA appealed to international human rights organizations to support their call.
