Sudanese ‘security apparatus’ ransacks human rights office

The headquarters of the Nuba Mountains Observatory of Human Rights was reportedly stormed on Wednesday by “elements of the security apparatus”. Speaking to Radio Dabanga from his office in the Arquette district in the Sudanese capital, Khartoum, the organisation’s Director General, Saeed Nohora said: “The men broke down the door of my office, scattered papers and documents around and smashed two computers. “They took some CDs and flash memory cards and then left,” he said.
