Sudan to lose up to 25% of its surface on Saturday

On Saturday, the 9th of July, Southern Sudan will officially celebrate its independance. Sudan will therefore lose up to 25% of its surface, ranking it as the second (2nd) largest African country after Algeria. Sudan will also be deprived of its borders with Kenya, Uganda and the Democratic Republic of Congo, as well as a large part of its frontiers with Ethiopia and the Central African Republic.
