Wajdi Saleh, the leader of Sudan’s Empowerment Removal Committee (ERC), has decried the return of those dismissed by the committee from the Ministry of Justice, as “a return to the former defunct regime of power”.

He stated in a social media post, that it was not simply about the returning dismissed advisors to the Justice Department, but the anticipated takeover of state institutions, that people should be made aware of.

Saleh explained this development was completely illegal and invalidated the ERC’s efforts. He called for all those who were dismissed by the ERC from their civil service institutions, to not be allowed to return to their original posts. He added that they would undoubtedly seek help from coup forces to regenerate the cadres of the ousted National Congress regime.
