Refugees protest against deteriorating conditions

  Sudanese refugees from the Salloum camp on the Libyan-Egyptian border protested inside the camp against the deteriorating environmental and health conditions, a refugee told Radio Dabanga on Saturday 4 November. Precarious conditions at the refugee camp include the spread of insects, overcrowded houses, scarcity of health care, doctors and medicines, refugee Mohamed Ahmed told Radio Dabanga. He said the refugees demanded the UN to assist in the resettlement to another healthy and secure place.
