Rebels say airstrikes injure 4 in South Kordofan, Sudan

The spokesman of the SPLA-N rebel movement announced that airstrikes in South Kordofan left four people injured, three children and one adult, on Thursday morning. Arnu Ngutulu Lodi said a government Antonov airplane dropped four bombs at 9:30am on the Dabkar village in Umm Doreein locality, leaving four wounded: Takween Abdalla Idris, 13; Luka Musa Ibrahim, 10; Alo Musa Mandari, 12; and Francis Hassan Alfarik, 27. Lodi added that the town of Kauda was hit at 9:00am on the next day by one shell, which killed “many sheep”. Another several bombs were dropped on Mandi village, he said, adding that “details about this attack will be published later”.   SPLA-N spokesman warned that the rebel forces will respond to “any” of the attacks by the Sudanese government against civilians “at the right time and target”.  File photo
