Hundreds of Sudanese in Egypt protested against the visit of President Omar Al Bashir to Cairo. The protesters gathered outside the headquarters of the Arab League before the arrival of Sudanese President Omar Al Bashir. A number of Egyptian protesters from Tahrir Square joined the protest and shouted slogans demanding the ouster of the Sudanese regime. The protesters demanded that the new Egyptian regime not deal with Al-Bashir, whom they called a war criminal wanted for justice.

The protesters said that they handed over yesterday a memorandum to the Arab League calling for pressure on the Sudanese regime, the departure of Al Bashir and his extradition to The Hague. One of the protesters told Radio Dabanga that they demanded the immediate removal of the regime and the release of political detainees. They called for freedoms and a halt to human rights violations, especially in Darfur.
