‘Peace for all Sudanese’: native administration leaders

On the occasion of Eid El Fitr, native administration leaders in Darfur and South Kordofan wish “peace and reconciliation for all Sudanese”.
Sultan Saad Bahreldin of the Dar Masalit and chairman of the Darfur Regional Authority Council told Radio Dabanga that he hopes that “peace, stability and tranquillity prevail throughout Darfur soon”.
He called for “concerted efforts for peace, coexistence, and brotherhood so that the displaced persons and refugees can finally return to their villages”.
Rizeigat leader Mahmoud Madibo congratulated the people of Darfur on Eid El Fitr, and expressed his hope that “there farming will be successful this season after the scarcity of rain last year”. He called on “all Darfuris to respect the authorities in order to achieve security and stability”.
“We all hope that the coming year will bring peace all over Sudan,” King Yasir Ahamdai of the North Darfur Berti tribe told this station. He appealed to “all the people of Darfur to make more efforts to achieve peace and stability, and foster a spirit of cooperation, love and unity”.
In South Kordofan, Nuba King Tutu Abdallah congratulated “the people in the Islamic nation, and in Sudan in particular with the Eid El Fitr, and wished them “a lasting peace and stability”.
