North Darfur government accused of selling donated food for IDPs

Internally displaced people (IDPs) in North Darfur accused the state government of selling items that had been donated to the IDPs by Arab countries. The government allegedly introduced the donated food items into the market rather than conveying them to the displaced. One resident of a displaced camp who works in a warehouse said that he witnessed 300 jerrycans of donated vegetable oil being sold. He said that warehouse employees were surprised to see a government delegation arrive on Monday morning bringing 300 jerrycans of oil.
